The slider bar under the microculture’s universe of topics (also known as the topic universe) provides a visual representation of the culture you are interested in. The topics that are most closely related to your topic of interest (i.e. those with a smaller semantic distance) are found on the left side of the slider. The topics that are further away are on the right side. If you drag the bar, you can move it to find more topics.
Moreover, when you click on a topic, the system displays articles related to the search topic and the topic that connects the two topics you have selected (for example, "skin health" and "cause acne" in the example below). The contextual articles are designed to help you understand the significance behind the intersection of these two topics.
